RAS CPA was more helpful than I could have asked for. I went from W2 with no expenses to 1099 with a ton of expenses and was in way over my head trying to figure everything out, and was admittedly far from organized. He was very patient in explaining everything to me and helping to make sure all expenses were covered and no stone was left unturned in order to put me in the best possible situation moving forward and avoiding a headache with the IRS. He was very patient with me as it took some time to gather all of the documents, but still worked diligently and extremely quickly to get everything done even though I was not able to work on it nearly as quickly as I would have liked to. I will be returning to RAS CPA and referring friends and family to them.

I contacted Shree Kendal for accounting assistance regarding salary backpay and tax burden for lump sum backpay payment. He agreed to perform the calculation, and we negotiated a price. Upon receiving the spreadsheet with calculations, I found it lacked necessary information (such as an official header and his credentials). When asked for a declaration of his credentials and methodology for the tax burden calculation, he initially refused. After multiple attempts, he offered to provide the declaration for an additional $750, the same amount he charged for the initial calculations. It appeared he was taking advantage of my situation. Be cautious of this accountant and office practices. My employer requested the accountant's credentials and how they came about the calculation as a signed declaration in order to reimburse me for the tax burden I had to pay. His refusal to provide this simple information to help his client is a mystery.
