As a long-time Montgomery County MD resident and graduate of VA Tech, Marion Thompson earned her CPA designation in 1989.  Marion has been involved in many community and professional organizations.  She became President of TTA in 2005.  She was President of the Maryland Society of Accountants from 2007-2008 and currently serves on the Board of Trustees.  Marion is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals. Bob has an engineering degree from VA Tech and an MBA from American University.  He also holds and Enrolled Agent certificate from the Internal Revenue Service which he earned after schooling and testing. Bob is fully retired now from tax work only bossing Marion around a bit from time to time. He is an avid reader and watcher of old movies. I was born and raised in Washington D.C. I moved to Montgomery County in December 1996. I came to Thompson Tax in October 2006 to be the Office Manager.
